Jade & Chris – wow!
Right from when I first met these two fabulous people back in January 2017, it was clear that their plans for the Big Day were to have plenty of fun and an awesome time…. and that preciesly describes their special day – and so much more besides!
Rewinding to the start, I caught up with Chris and his groomsmen for a bit of prep-action (along with those fabulous cufflinks) before heading over to the Boathouse to meet Jade, Bridesmaids and Mum.
The Boathouse is a fully licensed delightfully contemporary waterside wedding venue, located in 11 acres of parkland on the banks of Ormesby Broad just 30 minutes from Norwich. The Boathouse combines an idyllic & romantic waterside Norfolk Wedding venue with fine country dining, luxurious accommodation and beautiful woodland lodges. Perfect for beautiful Norfolk Wedding celebrations and a fabulous location to entertain your wedding guests!
With preparations completed, Jade and her Dad were whisked away to the Waterside in a gleaming 1938 vintage Lagonda – looking simply perfect!
Meanwhile, back at the Boathouse the weather was looking a little touch & go for an outdoor ceremony – which didn’t help settle Chris’s pre-formalities nerves while waiting for Jade’s arrival.
With knots tied, registers signed, confetti thrown and slightly darkening skies, we headed out on the luxurious “Gentleman Jim” electrically-powered Edwardian Norfolk Broads launch for a few minutes escapism on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. Can safely say that for once, timing was somehow absolutely on our side – for as we pulled away from the jetty the heavens opened!
The rest of the day was simply fabulous – end to end fun, laughs and family. Perfect! Suspect we may have set a whole new record on partying though…
