Curds Hall Barn in Little Fransham, Dereham Norfolk is a beautifully restored barn dating from the 17th Century. It is one of the last standing buildings from Curds Hall, and has been lovingly cared for through the years to maintain its original structure. Following a stunning restoration completed in Spring 2021 the venue now provides a beautifully clean, modern yet rustic finish – the simply perfect picturesque backdrop for wedding celebrations. Curds Hall Barn is a family-run venture, inspired by a family wedding whose special day was celebrated within the Barn and the Woodshed. Since then, they’ve worked to renovate the site; transforming outdoor and indoor spaces into a picturesque exclusive hire Norfolk wedding venue surrounded by open parkland and fields.
The Venue’s top-notch Wedding Events Team of Eleanor and Annabelle bring over 20 years of wedding planning and coordination experience to your special day, helping to ensure your day is planned to perfection and runs fabulously smoothly from start to finish.
The venue is right in the heart of Norfolk with easy access to the A47 and nearby hotels. You can also potentially opt to camp within the beautiful parkland right next to the venue and of course there’s also the beautifully converted 5-bedroom Old Coach House barn just a short distance away from the venue.
Beautiful Wedding Photography at Curds Hall Barn
As a Norfolk Wedding photographer, one of the most incredible things I get to do is to deliver photos which my couples love. I adore being able to capture everything about your big day, helping to preserve those memories and fleeting moments ensuring they’re with you forever.
I talk about my ethos and approach a lot as I feel it’s really important we’re all on the same page around what I do… which is all about capturing your genuine moments as they happen during your day. I won’t disrupt or get in the way and my goal is to help you to be comfortable and at ease despite me waving a camera around during the day. It is always wonderful to hear from couples afterwards that their guests felt the same. I’ll never ask you to pose or pressure you for more time. I’m a firm believer in that your wedding day is your wedding day. It’s not a staged photoshoot, or an excuse to drag you around the venue from one setup shot to the next. The most challenging things get is usually deciding whether or not to bring your drinks along for a few photos!
I always love to get to know my clients before their wedding day as it really helps me to understand what matters to them and enables me to tailor my services to your needs. Every single couple (and wedding!) is beautifully unique and I’ve long-since realised that what suits one, absolutely does not suit all. As such, rather than trying to bundle in everything from photography to the kitchen sink I always suggest we focus on capturing beautiful wedding photos first – and sort out anything else after the day! Usually makes life a little simpler too.
