Away from the world of Norfolk wedding & commercial photography, I’m also available for baby, family & lifestyle photography shoots – setting out to document all aspects of life as it happens and giving you photos to cherish.

Norfolk family photography can take place more or less anywhere in your choice of favourite location. We can shoot family photography in beautiful woodlands, parks, beaches or in the familiar surroundings of your own home.

Norfolk is a county that is packed to the brim with beautiful locations for photography of all styles and it’s possible to make nearly anywhere work.

My approach to lifestyle photography shoots is simple – we’ll go for a walk, investigate the area, let the children play, draw shapes in the sand or simply play in the park. I’ll then capture those awesome fleeting moments and together we’ll create beautiful natural photos of you and your family.

At-Home Baby & Newborn Photos

Although I’ve just been talking about how we can shoot family photos on-location, sometimes the best place for a family session is actually at home; in your own, relaxed and familiar surroundings.

For the youngest (and newest!) members of your family, I can offer relaxed in-home family photography – bringing my unposed & relaxed approach to capturing your precious little one’s earliest days to treasure forever.

These sessions don’t have a time limit and we’ll work around baby’s agenda at baby’s pace – as they rarely follow instructions!

We’ll shoot details, cuddles, moments, little hands, feet and all those beautifully tiny bits that just don’t stay that small forever. Everything’s important!

Simply pick a quiet corner or settle in for cuddles on the sofa and we’ll capture those special photos to look back on fondly when they turn 18!

These sessions are unposed and are all about you and baby with no need for lots of props, fake backgrounds or arranging baby into unnatural positions.

Studio Sessions

I normally shoot lifestyle & family work on-location, ideally in the great outdoors – mainly as Norfolk is packed to the brim with beautiful locations and it’s always a bit of a shame to retreat indoors.

However, I also have a full mobile studio lighting and backdrop setup which I can bring to you and setup anywhere with enough room – bringing everything needed for the crisp, carefully lit studio look if that’s something you would prefer!

Any location with enough empty space can be turned into a photo studio; complete with high-key white backdrops, or professional coloured backgrounds for portrait work.

These sessions can take a little more time than normal due to the setup involved, so please do tell me as much as you can about what you’d like to create and we can go from there!

Pricing - From £270

Lifestyle sessions normally include 1-2 hours photography along with somewhere around 50 full-size digital images in high resolution, delivered through our secure online gallery system.

Travel within Norfolk and most of Suffolk is included but I’m always happy to quote for family photography anywhere.

I can also offer you a range of beautiful prints, wall art, photo books and beautiful albums – but can promise to never try and “sell” these to you. If you’re interested in creating something extra-special, please just ask and I’d be delighted to run through what’s available.

Whenever possible I love to try and arrange shoots timed for the hour or so before sunset as the golden light tends to be BEAUTIFUL. That said, we can of course shoot at any time of the day to suit you or match in with family routines. Please do just let me know what would be best for you and we can set something up.

I must mention that weekend availability is necessarily limited during the summer wedding season.

Finally, if your location has any entrance fees or additional charges for photography, then these will be payable by you for all involved in the shoot.
