Dairy Barns Hickling Norfolk Wedding – Gemma & Nat

Gemma & Natalie married at the lovely Dairy Barns in Hickling, back in February 2017.  With two beautiful brides, two fabulous dresses, a gorgeous venue and of course awesome family & friends – the stage was set for a stunning day!

Arriving a little earlier than normal, the morning disappeared in what can only be described as a blur of hair, makeup, fun, prosecco and dresses; all made slightly easier to capture than normal by both our wonderful brides getting ready at Dairy Barns in two of the lovely suites.

Something Gemma, Nat and I had talked about when we met before their Big Day was the mildly challenging question of who was going to walk down the aisle first… We talked about a few possible options and it was fantastic to see that they’d decided to put one of them into play! At the start of the ceremony, both their dads entered first, meeting in the middle of the aisle. A suitable coin was then flipped; casting the deciding vote to see who would enter first.

Beautiful formalities out of the way, the next stop was a quick confetti shower out in the barn & lots of catching up with friends before heading indoors for a fantastic Wedding Breakfast courtesy of Hannah and her team, speeches and kick-starting the evening’s festivities with PLENTY of dancing courtesy of DJ Sebina!

All I can really add is that it was an absolute pleasure to have the privilege of being invited to document Gemma & Nat’s special day. It’s a year down the line, but once again – a massive congratulations to the lovely Mrs & Mrs Layden-Thompson!
