Kerry & Dan – Great Melton Old Rectory Norfolk Wedding
For once, I’m honestly not sure where to start with this one!
I’ve always regarded being invited to photograph someoneone’s wedding as one of the highest possible privileges. When that someone happens to be one of the region’s fabulous Wedding Industry suppliers, well… honoured doesn’t come close.
Kerry and Dan run the amazing Epic Event Hire, and it’s safe to say that when these guys announced they were getting married, an absolutely all-star cast of Norfolk Wedding suppliers came together to form what can only be described as a crack team!
The absolute best bit from my point of view is that Kerry and Dan decided to hire both Mike Savory Wedding Films and I to capture it all for them! How fabulous is that!? Mike and I are very much on the same wavelength when it comes to telling the story of your special day – which means we can anticipate what each other is doing and work together to create something a little extra special, or ah, epic!

After starting the day with a quick visit to the Ipswich Road Holiday Inn to catch up with Dan and the Bridesmaids, Mike and I headed to the hidden gem that is The Old Rectory in Great Melton to have a look around and capture those all-important special moments during Kerry’s bridal preparations.
With the morning flying by, we caught up with the lovely Toastmaster Bob to check the timings and dived into the whirlwind of the rest of the day! Let’s just say that the day was crammed with non-stop awesomeness literally from start to finish – a fantastic example of what can happen when you bring together a crack team of suppliers at the top of their game! As for the dancefloor… well.. I suppose we had high expectations for what might result from all of Epic Sound’s DJs being in the same place at the same time, along with the fabulous Ignite Band and wow – we weren’t disappointed!
Throw in a fantastic Norfolk sunset, one wonderful couple and two creative pro’s left to do what we do best 🙂
