Rosie & Ben – Norfolk Beach Engagement Shoot

I first met Rosie and Ben at the end of February 2016 when we sat down to have a chat about their plans for an October wedding at the beautiful Kimberley Hall near Wymondham.

They decided to book an engagement shoot with me and after initially postponing due to torrential rain & thunderstorms (it doesn’t rain in Norfolk… those incredible Norfolk skies are always there… honest!), we met up on a lovely Sunday evening to take a stroll around one of North Norfolk’s most incredible beaches.

With plenty of early evening golden light we were able to explore the beach, find some sand dunes and even had time to shoot some fun photos around the beach huts.  Much fun was had by all – even if we came away with sand-covered and slightly damp shoes as we’d all somehow decided that wellies would be better off staying in the car…!

Booking an engagement or lifestyle shoot before your Wedding is a wonderful way to ease yourself into the idea of being followed around by someone with a camera and being photographed. Generally taking somewhere around 1-2 hours, engagement shoots are a relaxed way to get over the idea of seeing a camera while we explore a favourite outdoor location of your choice – meaning that when we meet again on your wedding day you’re not so nervous at first about having your photo taken.

They’re also a fantastic excuse to go for a walk along a beach in gorgeous early evening sunshine, explore sand dunes, make time for a walk in a forest – or just to pause and admire a sunset.

Let me know if you’re interested in booking me to capture your special day or indeed if you’d like to add an engagement shoot to your wedding booking!
